Hack of the Week No.3

The great thing about our mini-projects is that you can mix and match the models or add in your own.

Our weekly mini-project hack uses models from 3 different projects!

Add in raised or v-carved text for that special "Hockey Mom" in your life!!!

You know Mother's Day is just around the bend... hint, hint.

Have you hacked a mini-project?  Email us a screenshot of the layout or an image of the finished piece and spread the inspiration!

Keith Geiger you are "Weekend CNC Warrior" Approved!

One of the great features of our mini-projects is that we design them to be hacked together with other mini-project models or models you have in your collection.

It is so nice to see a CNCminiProjects user like Keith take our models and make them look so good and "hack" them together with models in his existing library.

Keith took our Pick-up League Football project as a base and then added his own baseball and bats model to create this super plaque for his son!

Love that finish!!!!

Using that same layout he created this fantastically finished sample plaque using some paints!!!  WOW!

"I use a CarveWright CNC.  Stain and oil based paints with clear out spray sealer.  Not much finishing needed.  You have a great product."

Thanks Keith for emailing us the great images the great comment!

Hack of the Week No.2

The great thing about our mini-projects is that you can mix and match the models or add in your own.

Our weekly mini-project hack uses models from 3 different projects!

We simulated a bit of v-carving using the Pupcat font for the final touch!

Nice how the rope border just tucked in behind the cottage sign and cabin plaque to simulate a hanging open sign!
