Assembled Layouts and Clipart Installer

We have some exciting changes to share with you.  Oh yes, it's almost March and we have been busy over the last few weeks upgrading projects, adding content and making things easier.  As we look farther into 2015 there will be even more interesting things happening here... but for now we would like to share just a few with you.

Assembled layout included with the Pick-Up League - Soccer project.

Those of you that have purchased a project from us in the past probably had this idea cross your mind, "Why don't they just include in a sample layout to get us started?".  Yes!  That's a great idea and it’s been on our to-do list for a while now.  As of this post every project in the Project Shop has received an upgrade of an "Assembled" layout.  That's right, when you purchase a project it will come with a sample layout for you to load, size and toolpath right out of the box, so to speak.

When looking at one of our projects in the Project Shop just scroll down below the images of the individual models, just above the Project Sheet and you will find an image of the assembled layout that is included with that project.

Pretty neat EH?

Installer for the Be Mine No.1 project.

Another useful change we've made is that all of you Vectric Aspire users will no longer be downloading a zipped file containing your project.  From here on out you will be given a download link to a file that will install your purchase directly into the Vectric clipart folder.  All of your projects will end up in the same place every time making them easy to access from Aspire’s Clip Art tab.

Slick... right?

Need some extra help with the installer and and how to locate your project?  Check out this short video.

Still have questions... contact us and we will get back to you as soon as we can with a great answer.

That's just about it for now but there is plenty more to come!  Keep an eye on our Shop Notes section of the site or keep subscribed to the Newsletter to keep on top of them!

Our Aspire demo... in case you missed us.

Just in case you missed it, we put together a 17min video of the Aspire demo we presented at the 2014 Vectric User Group meeting.  This version has a bit more content then we were able to do live, so even if you saw it once you just might want to watch it again.

We take the Western Saloon No.2 mini-project and its Project Sheet, as reference, to demonstrate how quick it is to use our mini-projects in Aspire 4.5.  Before the end of the video we hack this project using models from the Western Saloon No.1 mini-project and show you some basic tooling on the layout.

This video will be handy to watch if you are new to mini-projects or Aspire, want to understand how better to use your existing mini-projects or are just interested in CNC.

Dishing out the first "No.2" of 2014!

From both of us here at CNCminiProjects we hope you all had a safe and happy holidays!  Wishing you all the best for 2014!

Thank you to all of our customers for making 2013 a great first year!

We would like to send a special thanks to all of our customers that have taken the time to spread the word about what we have to offer here.  If it were not for you, your kind words and all your support, 2013 would not have been as great as it was!  Thank you!

We are so excited to be releasing our first "No.2" to start our second year in business.

Late last year we released a mini-project called Dish Shapes No.1 and we felt that we need to follow it up closely with our Dish Shapes No.2.. so here it is!!!!

Our second installment has the same 4 basic shapes with a hand carved look added to them.  We have replaced the daisy with a sharp looking fleur de lis that has been inspired by a carving we once saw on a church in Texas.

Both the Dish Shapes No.1 and No.2 were created so that any user, from novice to the expert, could machine a model below the surface of a project, wood blank or a cabinet door.  Addin amazing versatility to our mini-projects and to your existing library of models.

To help you understand more fully how to uses these we also developed a Rough Cuts video to help you along.  Please feel free to check it out!

So here's to a safe and wonderful 2014 filled with great Weekend CNC Warrior projects!
