Note - This hack was assembled in Aspire V8 for presentation purposes.  It could have been done in VCarve Pro V8 or VCarve Desktop.


 

Here is a great Independance Day layout that is sure to inspire you to create a project that celebrates the great land you live in!  This layout uses just 2 models from the Around the World No.1 - USA project.

Around the World starting in Don's shop.


Ready to be impressed? Don Harding got this to us in record time after receiving the new Around the World USA CNC Project.

The material Don used was Poplar.

The material Don used was Poplar.

He used the Assembled Layout to make this wonderful carving. The finished size is 19" x 15" and about .9" thick. The roughing and finishing passes it to 6 hours using a 1/8" ballnose endmill for the finishing cut.

We can't wait to see it finished!
