Travel Around the World starting with the USA

One Possible Layout

"I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives.
I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.  ~ Abraham Lincoln"

Abraham Lincoln may be a prominent figure in US history but that quote is true to just about any place in the world.  This is our first installment of our Around the World series of projects.  Each project will contain models that we hope will help you to reflect your pride in the place you live, or call home, in you finished projects.

When you think of the USA it can't be helped to think of the US flag with its stars and stripes.  Also the eagle has long been a symbol of freedom and nothing says freedom like the United States of America.  Using the other models in this project you are sure to be able to create the perfect layout to show your pride in your home land.

Marinan Brewer's Graduation Plaque!

With the end of the school year soon approaching we thought it would be the perfect time to post this finished project hack from Marinan Brewer.

"Machine is Laguna Swift CNC ROUTER 4X8.  Software is V CARVE PRO comes with machine!"

"Needless to say - I used your Projects for all the items carved! Worked great"

Marinan used the Graduation Day No.1 and the Rose Tile No.1 project to hack together this layout.

What a great plaque for a wonderful achievement.  We're sure Emily loved it!

Thank you Marinan for sharing this special projects with us!

Hack of the Week No.98

It's been one of those days... this hack seemed to be appropriate!  Now... where is that coffee!

This "A yawn is a silent scream for COFFEE!" sign was created using models from these projects:

The font we used to simulate the v-carving on this layout is call:  Corbel

Note - This hack was assembled in Aspire V8 for presentation purposes.  It could have been done in VCarve Pro V8 or VCarve Desktop.

Don Harding loved this hack so he took the time to actually make it... or his version of it.

This is a sneak peek, so for now, it just has a sealer on it and is waiting for some paint.  Don used his CAMaster Stinger and his Vectric Aspire software to create it.  Looks good so far and we can't wait to see the finished piece!

Finished sign!  Look'n good!

Why not hack together your own layout mixing and matching models from other projects or from your own library!  For some great inspiration check out our  hacks page!
