Hack of the Week No.50 - On a Monday?

We wanted to get your and our week started off on the right foot so we thought the Hack of the Week should be moved to Monday. Seems logical right??

Coffee, coffee, coffee... oh how we love coffee!

This retro "Coffee Shop Sign" was
created using models from these projects:

Coffee/Espresso cup - Coffee Shop No.1
Retro sign shape - Chef's Kitchen No.1
Game Tile - Be Mine No.1

The font we used to simulate the v-carving on the ribbons is called: Narkisim

Retro snowflake thingy was created using the drawing tools in VCarve Pro. If you would like to download it click the link below.

Note - This hack was assembled in VCarve Pro V8 with the text simulated in Aspire v8!!!! Could have been done in VCarve Desktop or Aspire!!! So many options.

Mums do have a very special role in our lives, so on May 10th, Mother's Day why not show her with a very special gift?

This "Mum is like a button" plaque was
created using models from these projects:

Button - Nursery Fun No.1
Ribbon - Free Getting Started Heart and Ribbon project
Plaque shape - Pub Sign No.1

The font we used to simulate the v-carving on the ribbons is called: Bookman

Note - This hack was assembled in VCarve Pro V8 with the text simulated in Aspire v8!!!! Could have been done in VCarve Desktop or Aspire!!! So many options.

Mother's Garden No.2

It's almost Mother's Day (May 10th) and we can't think of a better way to celebrate the mothers in your life than with some of your time either in person or in the creation of a heart felt project. This project just might be the perfect start to that special gift.

Even if the recipient was not blessed with a green thumb for gardening we are sure you can express the perfect Mother's Day sentiment with some well chosen V-Carving (the mushier the better).
