Project Hack From IWF Day 1

"USA - Motorcycles"

We thought it would be fun to try and create a Design and Make CNC Project Hack for every day we are at the IWF Show in Atlanta.  This hack was put together on the first day of the show as a bit of a demo.

"USA - Motorcycles"

This layout was created using models from these projects:

Fonts used are:

  • Impact, Candara

Note - This hack was assembled in Aspire V8 for presentation purposes.  It could have been done in VCarve Pro V8 or VCarve Desktop.

Why not hack together your own layout mixing and matching models from other projects or from your own library!  For some great inspiration check out our  hacks page!

Hack of the Week No.116

"Shop Time, My Time"  Clock Layout

We know it can be hard to get personal shop time during the summer months, so when you do it needs to count!  This fun shop clock layout will always be there to remind you and your "guests" that the time in the shop is your time!

"Shop Time, My Time"

This shop clock layout was created using models from these projects:

Fonts used are:

  • Candara, Bookman Antique

We also took advantage of the flat space on the measuring tape model to add the logo for the IWF Atlanta trade show.  This could be the logo of your company or any other v-carving for that matter... the sky's the limit!

Note - This hack was assembled in Aspire V8 for presentation purposes.  It could have been done in VCarve Pro V8 or VCarve Desktop.

Hack of the Week No.108

Don't poke the bear unless you have coffee!

Monday again and it's time to get back into the swing of things... but it's good to keep in mind this rule of thumb...

"Don't poke the bear unless you have coffee!"

This "Coffee Reminder" sign was created using models from these projects:

The font we used to simulate the v-carving on this layout is called:  Book Antiqua

It is always fun to see where customers take our Hacks and this one made us laugh!

Don Harding's take on this hack is pretty funny... and probably a bit more accurate.

Thanks Don!
